Zonya lives healthy out-loud by championing the very lifestyle habits that are known to magnify health. With humor, passion and eye-popping demos and stories, Zonya turns light bulbs on, and keeps them shining well beyond the end of her programs.
Thirty-year veteran Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Zonya Foco is one of the most exciting, inspiring, vital and unforgettable speakers in America. Her high energy crossed with low maintenance solutions makes healthy living fun and doable for all.
Known as America’s Nutrition Leader, Zonya has been a guest presenter for “Oprah & Bob’s Best Life Challenge,” and is the host of Zonya’s Health Bites, a weekly half-hour Public Television show. She is the author of the best-selling Lickety-Split Meals cookbook, and the creator of the “No diets, No counting, No kidding” DIET FREE lifestyle program, which was featured in a two-hour Public Television special and has transformed the health of worksite and community groups across the country. Zonya most recently launched her “Gain REAL Health Eating REAL Food” campaign via her co-authored Eat REAL Cookbook, Eat REAL for Your Health wellness program, and EatRealAmerica.com recipe site.

Formerly a Clinical Nutritionist at the Michigan Heart and Vascular Institute in Ann Arbor, MI, she left healthcare to publish her “fastest way to healthy” cookbook, Lickety-Split Meals, which has sold nearly a quarter-million copies. In 2005, she began her national Public Television series, Zonya’s Health Bites, providing simple solutions for everyday health and fitness. In 2012, she launched her lifestyle program, DIET FREE, which has been so successful, it was chosen by Public Television for a two-hour special. In 2018, Zonya partnered to bring her co-authored Eat REAL Cookbook, EatRealAmerica.com recipe site and Eat REAL for Your Health lifestyle program to individuals and worksites as inspiration to “replace processed food with wholesome.”
Zonya has collaborated with Health Alliance Plan (HAP) of Michigan to develop and present its distinguished Weight Wise member programs based on her DIET FREE habits. She has also worked with Bob Greene as a guest presenter for “Oprah & Bob’s Best Life Challenge,” providing entertaining and educational cooking presentations. Most recently, Zonya has developed and presented livestreamed series on the topics of Boost Your Immune System and Dodging Diabetes Deliciously from her studio kitchen, demonstrating in-the-kitchen skills that move the needle on health outcomes for individuals, families and corporate groups.
In addition to spreading the word through her live and livestream speaking platforms, books, TV show and wellness programs, Zonya has appeared on local newscasts across the country, nationally syndicated daytime talk shows and QVC. She has been published in the popular magazines Prevention, Today’s Dietitian, Total Health, and Fast and Healthy Cooking.
